OXFORD — Ole Miss football has beefed up its wide receiving corps for next season.
Coach Lane Kiffin and the Rebels have added a commitment from De’Zhaun Stribling, a senior who is transferring from Oklahoma State.
Stribling is the No. 16 wide receiver in the portal class, according to 247Sports. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Stribling is a prototypical outside receiver. He is 6-foot-2, 200 pounds with a nose for making contested catches. He caught 52 passes for 882 yards and six touchdowns this season for the Cowboys.
He transferred to OSU from Washington State in 2023, but played sparingly in had his first year with the Cowboys because of a season-ending wrist injury after Week 3.
There’s an opportunity for Stribling to earn a large role in the Ole Miss offense next season. The Rebels have to replace graduating receivers Tre Harris (60 catches), Jordan Watkins (42 catches) and Juice Wells (27 catches).
Stribling is joining a talented group of incoming freshman wideouts. Five-star recruit Caleb Cunningham headlines that group. The Clarion Ledger named Cunningham to the Dandy Dozen.
The Rebels currently have the No. 1 transfer portal recruiting class according to 247Sports.
