For the second time in his career, Rich Rodriguez has been named head football coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers. Rodriguez went 60-26 as the head coach at WVU from 2001-2007 before leaving to take the head coaching role at Michigan. Rodriguez spent three seasons in Ann Arbor, six seasons at the University of Arizona and three seasons at Jacksonville State before his coaching journey brought him home to his alma mater once again.
Rodriguez most recently guided the Gamecocks from FCS to a Conference USA championship, winning nine games in each of his three seasons at the helm.
