Look: Indiana football travels in style to South Bend for first-round CFP game vs Notre Dame

BLOOMINGTON — The Indiana football team travelled to South Bend on Thursday night in style.

Before boarding a charter flight, the Hoosiers (11-1) received College Football Playoff-branded adidas gear including all white travel suits that players all wore on the bus ride to the airport.

The team is spending Thursday night in Michigan City ahead of its game against Notre Dame (11-1) in the first round of the playoffs.

“This first round is treated as more of an away game,” IU coach Curt Cignetti said, this week. “We’ll have the normal Friday routine tomorrow, leave about the same time we normally would.”

Cignetti held team meetings on Thursday night at the hotel and everyone will reconvene Friday afternoon for another set of meetings. Indiana is expected to arrive at Notre Dame Stadium before 6 p.m. on Friday night.
