The Texas Longhorns, who finished their season as the No. 2 seed in the SEC, will host ACC champions the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the twelve-team College Football Playoff this Saturday afternoon. This game will be played at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas finished the regular season 11-2, while Clemson finished at 10-3. This weekend’s game marks the first-ever first matchup between Texas and Clemson; it’s expected that quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Cade Klubnik will play for Texas and Clemson, respectively.
