The Ravens are going to the playoffs for the 12th time in John Harbaugh’s 17 seasons as their head coach, and he says that is something to celebrate.
“It’s huge,” Harbaugh said after the game. “We rejoice, I rejoice in the fact that we made the playoffs because it’s tough to do, it’s really hard to do. Look around the league, how hard it is to do. I’m so proud of these guys. We have goals, and our first goal is to win the next game, we say. Everything we do all year is to win the next game. The second goal is to make the playoffs. The third goal is to win the division, the AFC North, and the final goal is to win the championship, the Super Bowl.”
Saturday’s win over the Steelers puts the Ravens into a tie for first place in the AFC North, but the Steelers still own the tiebreaker advantage, which means the Ravens’ best path to the AFC North is to win their final two games (against the Texans and Browns) and hope the Steelers lose one of their last two (against the Chiefs and Bengals).
The Ravens are now the -140 betting favorites to win the division, with the Steelers +115 underdogs. And now the Ravens focus on the next goal of winning the next game on Christmas Day in Houston.
