Mizzou lands Penn State QB, Beau Pribula, from the transfer portal

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Missouri football team has what appears to be it’s next quarterback according to new reports.

Matt Zenitz, a college football insider, announced on X that Penn State transfer QB, Beau Pribula has committed to Mizzou. Pribula was considered to be one of the top QBs left in the transfer portal.

Pribula chose Mizzou over other programs like Iowa, Mississippi and Central Florida, all of which he visited while making his decision.

With QB Brady Cook playing his last game for the Tigers as a senior this past season, it looks as though Pribula will look to start for Mizzou, after being a backup at Penn State.

However, the QB room at Missouri isn’t sparse by any means and Pribula will have competition. There are already three QBs on scholarship: Drew Pine, Matt Zollers and Sam Horn.

In limited action this past season, Pribula posted 275 passing yards, five touchdowns, one interception and a 74.3% completion rate. He also ran for 242 yards and four TDs during his sophomore campaign.
