Colorado football’s offensive line grew stronger on Monday as Texas Tech transfer Aki Ogunbiyi reportedly signed with the Buffs.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Ogunbiyi is headed to Boulder after five seasons with the Aggies. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Texas native has played in 23 career games, including eight starts. This past season, he saw offensive snaps in three games.

Before signing with the Aggies, Ogunbiyi was a four-star prospect and the No. 9 offensive guard in the class of 2020, per the 247Sports composite.

Here’s what Aggies Wire’s Cameron Ohnysty wrote on Ogunbiyi’s time at Texas A&M:

Sticking with the trenches, the first Texas A&M player to enter the portal was junior offensive lineman Aki Ogunbiyi, who battled numerous injuries while subsequently being buried on the depth chart for his first three seasons.

With one season of college eligibility remaining, Ogunbiyi will likely compete for playing time at left or right guard.
