LSU football will have one of its top offensive linemen when it faces Baylor in the Texas Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
Miles Frazier is giving it one more go with the Tigers, as made official in a post to LSU’s social media on Monday. It’s not a surprise, as Frazier has been practicing with LSU.
Frazier suiting up is critical for LSU. The offense is already without its top two offensive linemen as tackles Will Campbell and Emery Jones declared for the draft and opted out of the bowl game.
Frazier is versatile. He played guard throughout 2023 and 2024 but played tackle in 2022. LSU will likely bump him out to right tackle in Jones’ absence.
LSU will trout out a young offensive line vs. Baylor. Frazier will be the only veteran taking the field for the unit.
According to PFF, Frazier was the best pass-blocking guard in the SEC in 2024. He didn’t allow a sack, and only one quarterback hit all year.
LSU’s offensive line is a major question mark heading into this game, but Frazier gives the Tigers security at right tackle.
