Packers’ lead grows to 21-0 in a total domination of the Saints

The Packers are showing no mercy. They have three possessions and three touchdowns against an undermanned Saints team.

Chris Brooks scored the third touchdown on a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:28 left in the first half to give Green Bay a 21-0 lead. Brooks became the seventh player to have a rush.

The Packers have 18 runs and 15 passes tonight.

Wide receiver Christian Watson was injured on a 14-yard run that got the Packers to the New Orleans 6. He was pushed out of bounds by Alontae Taylor, who then rolled over Watson. Watson, though, returned on the team’s next possession.

Watson has two carries for 23 yards but no receptions.

The Packers have 216 yards after scoring drives of 63, 96 and 67 yards.

The Saints have lost center Erik McCoy, who has an elbow injury. McCoy put a brace on his right elbow and returned briefly but has left again. Shane Lemieux has replaced McCoy.
