Texas was included in Santa’s College Football Playoff holiday wish list | Golden

Kids have been sending letters to a portly bearded guy in a red suit for decades and, in some cases, the perfect gift finds its way under the Christmas tree.

When it comes to college football, ’tis the season to be jolly, especially when it comes to the four biggest games of an historic 2024 campaign.

The College Football Playoff quarterfinals will play to huge audiences and we’ll be watching. That includes the big guy with the red suit and black boots who will have earned a well deserved 364 days off.

As usual, the North Pole post office has been inundated with letters from youngsters from all corners of the earth and even some well known grownups who are attempting to make some history. So, in honor of the remaining eight teams in the inaugural 12-team playoff, I got my hands on 12 that I just had to share with anyone who loves college football.

Who knows when or if Santa will answer but we’ll know if their got their wish soon enough.

1. Hey Santa, I know you answered last year’s wish and I got bumped up to a an annual salary of over $10 million but I have another. I know the other seven coaches are asking for a national championship so I don’t want to put you in the position of having to choose between us.

After our win over Clemson, my sole wish for the holiday season is for a healthy Quinn Ewers, Cam Williams, Jake Majors and Quintrevion Wisner for the Arizona State game. Those young men are a huge reason why my team has played so well. If they’re ready to go for the Sun Devils and beyond, we will handle…
