Veteran defensive lineman Shelby Harris’s season is over.
The Browns announced on Thursday that Harris has been placed on injured reserve and he will miss the team’s games against the Dolphins and Ravens as a result. Wide receiver James Proche was signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad in a corresponding move.
Harris, who has an elbow injury, started 13 of the 14 games he played for the team this season. He had 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two passes defensed and a forced fumble in those appearances. He is under contract for the 2025 season as well.
Proche has three catches for 21 yards in seven games for the Browns this season.
