Giants’ Eli Manning among 15 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists for 2025 class

Eli Manning is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The former Giants quarterback is among 15 players who made the cut Saturday.

Selections get announced Feb. 6 during a 9 p.m. show on NFL Network.

Cornerback Eric Allen, defensive end Jared Allen, offensive tackle Willie Anderson, offensive guard Jahri Evans, tight end Antonio Gates, wide receiver Torry Holt, linebacker Luke Kuechly, wide receiver Steve Smith, outside linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs, running back Fred Taylor, kicker Adam Vinatieri, wide receiver Reggie Wayne, safety Darren Woodson and offensive guard/tackle Marshal Yanda are the others.

Manning is a first-time finalist and in his first year of eligibility. The 2004 NFL Draft’s No. 1 overall pick played his entire career with the Giants, whom he led to two Super Bowl wins over the New England Patriots (XLII and XLVI) while earning the game’s MVP both times.

Among six players in NFL history to ever win multiple Super Bowl MVPs, Manning was also a four-time Pro Bowl selection and shared the 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year with Larry Fitzgerald.

Manning played in 236 regular-season games, including 210 consecutive starts, and threw for 57,023 yards and 366 touchdowns from 2004-19.
