Bijan Robinson’s second TD gives Falcons a 14-7 lead

The Commanders were driving for the lead with a first down at the Atlanta 12 when center Tyler Biadasz was called for holding. On the next play, Jayden Daniels never saw linebacker Kaden Elliss, who had dropped in coverage.

Elliss intercepted a pass intended for Jamison Crowder and returned it 12 yards to the Atlanta 28.

The Falcons then went 72 yards in 11 plays for the go-ahead touchdown.

Bijan Robinson gave the Falcons a 14-7 lead with a 1-yard touchdown run, his second touchdown of the night. He thought he scored two plays earlier on a 4-yard run, but replay reversed the on-field ruling to a 3-yard run to the 1.

Robinson has 11 carries for 63 yards.

Rookie quarterback Michael Penix, making his second career start, has completed 7 of 14 passes for 66 yards and an interception.
