The Tide finished the 2024 campaign with a 9-3 record overall, with all three losses coming against fellow Southeastern Conference schools. ‘Bama ended the season ranked 11th in the US LBM Coaches Poll but was the first team out of the College Football Playoff.
The Wolverines were just 7-5 this fall after suffering from a post-championship hangover aggravated by the departure of the previous head coach. UM was well out of the rankings by season’s end, but it did manage to upset the Ohio State Buckeyes in its final game.
