DOUBTFUL — TE Brady Hunt (Dec. 28). QUESTIONABLE — TE Michael Smith (Dec. 16). PROBABLE — WR Vandrevius Jacobs (Dec. 18).

Illinois opt-outs for the Citrus Bowl

Illinois had only one key player opt out for the Citrus Bowl, all-Big Ten receiver Pat Bryant, who caught 54 passes for 984 yards and 10 touchdowns — the latter matching the Illini single-season all-time record. Zakhari Franklin is expected to step into the top receiving role. He had 613 yards and three touchdowns this season.

South Carolina opt-outs for the Citrus Bowl

South Carolina is without two key players who opted out and are preparing for the NFL draft, running back Rocket Sanders and edge rusher Kyle Kennard.
