High school football season is over, but the 2024 Louisiana All-State football teams have been released.
In Classes 4A and 5A, 16 Houma-Thibodaux area players, representing nine schools, were either named first team or honorable mention.
Here’s every Houma-Thibodaux area high school football player to be named All-State in Classes 4A and 5A:
Grant Barbera, junior, E.D. White
Barbera was a quarterback for the Cardinals, but was named All-District as an athlete and an All-State honorable mention in Class 4A.
Tadan Bingham, junior, Terrebonne
Bingham played both sides of the line for the Tigers, but was best at left tackle. He was named All-State honorable mention in Class 5A.
Paul Boudreaux, senior, Vandebilt Catholic
Boudreaux closed out his high school career by being named first-team All-State on the defensive line in Class 4A.
Tommy Bower, senior, E.D. White
Bower finished his high school career with an appearance in the state championship game and as a member of the Class 4A All-State first team.
Alvin Celestin, junior, Terrebonne
Celestin helped lead the Tigers to the playoffs, and was named an All-State honorable mention in Class 5A as a running back.
Jaylon Coleman, senior, Vandebilt Catholic
Coleman broke the Terriers’ career rushing record, finished his high school career with over 5,000 rushing yards, and was named first-team All-State in Class 4A.
Charlie Diedrich, junior, E.D. White
Diedrich was named first-team All-State as a linebacker in Class 4A after establishing himself as a defensive leader in 2024.
