Social media reacts to Ohio State’s big win over Oregon in Rose Bowl

There was only one question to ask after Ohio State dismantled Tennessee in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Can the Buckeyes roll that momentum into the Rose Bowl against No. 1 Oregon? That question was answered early and often as OSU would race out to a 34-0 lead in the first half.

The Ducks tried to mount a comeback, but by the time they were able to get on the scoreboard a deep hole had already been dug. The Bucks would go on to beat Oregon 41-21 marking the largest margin of victory in Ohio State history when facing a No. 1 ranked team.

As you might imagine, those on social media had some thoughts on the game and we’re here to give you the best. Let’s get to it!

Great knows great

He’s not wrong

Interesting take

If Oregon intentionally lost the Big Ten CCG, they’d have played Clemson and then Arizona State. But instead, they won, and for that they were prevented from playing for 3 weeks and then forced to play the 2nd best team in the country who got a first round cupcake to warm them up
