The 2024 College Football Playoff is down to the final four.
The new, expanded 12-team bracket started with byes for four teams and four first-round games hosted by Texas football, Penn State, Notre Dame and Ohio State. But almost a month later, just a third of those original dozen teams remain.
And those top four seeds have been eliminated.

The byes belonged to Oregon, the top seed and winner of the Big Ten; Georgia, which won the SEC title game and grabbed the No. 2 seed; Boise State was No. 3 as the nation’s top Group of Five team and Mountain West Champion. Arizona State rounded out the byes thanks to a Big 12 title.
Four teams are in the running for the national title game Jan. 20 at Mercedes Benz in Atlanta; one from the SEC, two from the Big Ten and that familiar independent program. All that’s left before then is the Cotton Bowl in Texas and the Orange Bowl in Florida.
CFP games this postseason have been streamed on a combination of channels, including ESPN, TNT, ABC and more.
