Lane Kiffin might be King Troll on the internet, whether it’s out loud or on his always-entertaining X (formerly Twitter) account.

We might have gotten another example on Thursday night as his Ole Miss team beat Duke in the Gator Bowl.

In an ESPN interview, he was asked about QB Jaxson Dart, to which he said: “It’s awesome, he’s playing great. You never know, maybe he’ll file a waiver and come back another year.”

Now, what’s THAT about?

The universal answer, per fans, is that it has to do with Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia, who was given an extra year of eligibility thanks to a decision by a federal judge.

Lane Kiffin took what many perceived to be a shot at Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia during his interview at the Gator Bowl.

“Maybe we’ll file a waiver for [Jaxson Dart] to come back another year.”
