Jackson Christian wide receiver Jay’len Mosley commits to Central Arkansas football

Jackson Christian wide receiver Jay’len Mosley committed to Central Arkansas football on Saturday during a ceremony at Ronnie Fowler Stadium.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Mosley is a three-star athlete and is the No. 14 prospect in Tennessee for the Class of 2025 according to the 247Sports Composite.

Mosley was named Division II-A Mr. Football and The Jackson Sun’s All-West Tennessee Player of the Year in 2023 despite suffering a torn patellar tendon late in the season.

Mosley bounced back from the injury and was part of the 2024 All-West Tennessee first team after catching 66 passes for 1,165 yards and 20 touchdowns. He holds the TSSAA state record with 60 touchdown receptions in his career.

The Eagles went 10-2 in 2024 and ending the season with a 62-34 loss to eventual state TSSAA Division II-A champion Nashville Christian in the state quarterfinals.

Mosley had 22 offers. He had just visited FIU on Thursday and Friday before making his decision.

In June, Mosley cut his list of schools down to six, including Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Mosley changed the final four schools to Central Arkansas, FIU, Louisville and Tennessee.
