According to reports from The Clemson Insider, former 5-star recruit Jeremiah Alexander is expected to visit Clemson on Tuesday.

The Alabama transfer recently wrapped up a visit to Auburn over the weekend. Clemson recruited Alexander as a defensive end out of high school and spent three seasons with the Crimson Tide, primarily contributing on special teams.

The 6-foot-2, 249-pounder played at Thompson High School (AL), the same program that produced Clemson defensive standout Peter Woods. During his time at Alabama, Alexander redshirted in 2022, appearing in four games with one tackle. He transitioned to outside linebacker for the 2023 season, logging three tackles in 14 games, before missing the start of 2024 due to injury. He returned to post five tackles across 10 games that year.

Rated as the No. 1 edge defender and No. 18 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class (247Sports Composite), Alexander will have two years of eligibility remaining as he searches for a fresh start.
