WEST LAFAYETTE — One of the projected gems of Purdue football’s 2024 signing class will move on after one season in gold and black.
Receiver Shamar Rigby will transfer to Oklahoma State, he announced on X.
As a true freshman, Rigby was an opening day starter last season and caught two passes in a victory over Indiana State.

Rigby finished the season with a total of 11 receptions for 113 yards.
He also had a 5-yard carry against Oregon and threw an 8-yard touchdown pass against Northwestern.
Rigby becomes the fourth Purdue receiver from the 2024 roster to find a new home, joining Leland Smith (San Jose State), Jahmal Edrine (Virginia) and Jaron Tibbs (Kansas State). Receiver CJ Smith also entered the transfer portal.
