Ole Miss transfer offensive lineman Mana Taimani is taking a closer look at two Big 12 football programs amid his search for a new home.
According to Adam Gorney of Rivals, Taimani will take two-day trips to both West Virginia and Colorado this week. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound OL entered the transfer portal early last month after spending two seasons with the Rebels.
While playing primarily on special teams, Taimani appeared in four games this past season and 12 the year prior.
Taimani began his college career at Wyoming (2020-21) and played in 11 games during his final year with the Cowboys. He then spent the 2022 season at Diablo Valley College before landing at Ole Miss.
Colorado, which recently lost OL coach Phil Loadholt to Mississippi State, has landed two offensive linemen via the transfer portal this offseason: Zarian McGill (Louisiana Tech) and Aki Ogunbiyi (Texas A&M).
