Nebraska football landed Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle transfer Elijah Pritchett on Wednesday afternoon. Pritchett began trending towards Nebraska earlier this week when the Huskers landed several recruiting predictions.

Pritchett measures in at six-foot-six, 330 pounds. He started all 13 games for Alabama in 2024. He struggled with pass-blocking, allowing 31 pressures and six sacks per Pro Football Focus in 2024. The Huskers are hoping to get a bit more consistency out of him in 2025, as they needed a lineman following the departure of Bryce Benhart.

This commitment now brings the Huskers transfer portal class total to 14. They have addressed both sides of the football as this roster continues to take shape. This is a commitment with a high upside as the Huskers continue to try to address the offensive line.
