LSU football continued to add to its 2025 transfer portal class, securing a commitment from former Texas A&M tight end Donovan Green.
Green was the 15th commit of the transfer cycle for LSU and the second tight end, joining former Oklahoma TE Bauer Sharp.
Here’s where LSU’s transfer class ranks now.
According to 247Sports, the Tigers’ class remains the best in the country. Eight of the Tigers’ 15 commits are four-stars, per 247. That’s the most in the country, though Texas Tech comes close with seven.
LSU’s class has 68.64 points in the 247 rankings, just ahead of Texas Tech at 66.69.
On3 does its transfer rankings a different way. On3 doesn’t just reward teams for what they’ve signed, but docks teams for losing transfers. Because of that, LSU’s class ranks No. 10, according to On3.
If it was only about the players signed, LSU would be near the top spot.
Per On3, LSU has an average recruit rating of 80.47 — one of the best marks in the country. Few teams are combining the volume of transfers with the quality LSU is.
