Arkansas football welcomes 15 freshmen as early enrollees to campus

A new batch of freshmen with the Arkansas football program are starting their first day of classes Monday.

The Razorbacks are welcoming 15 members of their 2025 high school recruiting class this semester as early enrollees. The young Hogs moved onto campus over the weekend and will participate when spring practices get started in March.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Sam Pittman and Arkansas reeled in the 29th-best high school recruiting class in the country this cycle. The Razorbacks rank 14th in the SEC, only ahead of Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Here’s a look at the 15 players set to join Arkansas as true freshmen, along with some high school background on the new Hogs.

DL Caleb Bell

Hometown/School: Alpharetta, Ga. / Milton

Vitals: 6-3, 270 pounds

The scoop: His father, Kendrell Bell, is a former NFL player who was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2001. Caleb can impact the game in a variety of ways, totaling 75 tackles, 8.5 sacks and an interception as a junior.

OT Blake Cherry

Hometown/School: Owasso, Okla. / Owasso

Vitals: 6-5, 295 pounds

247Sports Composite: Three stars; national ranking: No. 1,131; position ranking: No. 80

The scoop: Cherry picked the Hogs over Oklahoma State and could be another offensive lineman who develops into a starter from this class. Ideally, he improves with his balance in pass protection and can play right tackle for Arkansas in two or three years.
