Jacksonville State football WR Brock Rechsteiner gets NIL deal from WWE, Triple H

Jacksonville State football receiver Brock Rechsteiner appears to be one of the next college athletes to receive a NIL deal from the WWE.

With Rechsteiner ties to the organization, it seemed to be only a matter of time for a deal to come together. Rechsteiner’s dad, Scott Rechsteiner wrestled with his uncle Rick and Brock’s cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner, wrestles under the name Bron Breakker. While talking with the Busted Open Podcast on Saturday, Scott Steiner, was discussing leaving his past with Triple H in the past for the benefit of his nephew, Bron and let it out that Triple H offered Brock an NIL deal.

“Matter of fact, (Triple H) called me the other day, probably about three weeks ago and offered my boy, my boy an NIL deal,” said Steiner (his WWE wrestling name).

Rechsteiner has previously expressed interest in entering the family business and following in his dad’s footsteps of becoming a professional wrestler, but for now is focused on football with the Gamecocks.

“Right now I’m one hundred percent focused on football. Once I’m done with football I’m going to get in to it,” Brock told the Gadsden Times in an interview during the 2024 season.

Rechsteiner broke out on to the scene with an 85-yard touchdown catch against Southern Miss, which saw Jax State coaches and teammates start posting photos of Rechsteiner with WWE belts and chainmail armor. He finished the year with 16 catches for 241 yards and two touchdowns.
