Texas football wide receiver Matthew Golden intends to declare for the NFL Draft, according to multiple reports.
Golden, a junior, will forego his final year of collegiate eligibility after playing one season for the Longhorns.
He emerged as the top target for quarterback Quinn Ewers, catching 58 passes for 987 yards in 16 games. His nine receiving touchdowns were the most in the SEC.

Listed at 6-foot, 195 pounds, Golden played his best football at the end of the season, accumulating 570 receiving yards in Texas’ final six games.
He arrived in Austin after a pair of seasons playing for Houston. Golden totaled 988 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns while with the Cougars.
His reported decision answers one of the key draft questions facing the Texas wide receivers. The other involves Isaiah Bond, who had not yet announced his choice as of Monday afternoon.
