A once-promising Texas A&M’s football season came to a disappointing end.
A 7-1 start ended with a three-game losing streak, including a 35-31 loss to USC in the Las Vegas Bowl to end Mike Elko’s first season as head coach. Had the Aggies upset the Texas Longhorns in the Lone Star Showdown the final week of the regular season, the Aggies would have made it to the SEC title game.
Notable wins for the Aggies include a 41-10 upset over then-ranked No. 9 Missouri and a 38-23 victory over LSU at Kyle Field.

Before getting injured Week 9 against South Carolina, there may not have been a more productive running back in the SEC than Le’Veon Moss. It is no coincidence that A&M’s offensive production and wins started tailing off when he was lost for the back half of the season.
The good news for Aggies fans is Moss, a former four-star recruit, decided to return for his senior season.
