Ball State football: Early enrollees in Mike Uremovich’s first recruiting class announced

Ball State football announced 25 mid-year enrollees Wednesday as part of new head coach Mike Uremovich’s first incoming class ahead of National Signing Day.

These student-athletes have arrived on campus in Muncie and began taking classes in the spring 2025 semester. The first class includes 15 transfers, five mid-year freshman enrollees who signed with the Cardinals in December, and five grayshirt student-athletes who delayed their enrollment after signing with Ball State a year ago.

Here’s a look at Ball State football’s 10 freshmen early enrollees from Uremovich’s first recruiting class. Asterisks indicate the grayshirt freshmen who signed with Ball State last year but delayed their enrollment until this spring. Ball State football 2025 early enrollees: incoming freshmen

Tobi Adewoyin, S

Tobi Adewoyin is a three-star safety out of North Atlanta (Ga.) High School. He was honored as an all-league safety and return specialist after he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. He also had four interceptions and 10 pass break-ups in 2024. Originally committed to Kennesaw State, he flipped his commitment to Ball State when Uremovich hired Kennesaw State defensive backs coach Ray Smith to the same position.

Brady Barrowman, OL*

Brady Barrowman is a three-star offensive lineman Minooka (Ill.) High School, where he was a two-year letterman and second-team all-conference performer in the Southwest Prairie Conference. He served as team captain as a senior.
