Browns coaches will get a close look at Jalen Milroe, others at the Reese’s Senior Bowl

The Cleveland Browns announced that their special teams coordinator, Bubba Ventrone, will serve as a head coach at the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Ventrone will be joined by New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka as the two head coaches for the Senior Bowl. Kafka will coach alongside Jacques Cesaire, the Browns’ defensive line coach and the Senior Bowl’s defensive coordinator.

The game will take place on February 1 after a highly anticipated week of player practices. Many high-profile players such as Jalen Milroe, Trevor Etienne, Dillon Gabriel, and Tez Johnson, are expected to boost their draft stock in this pre-draft showcase.

The Browns’ second-year coach enters the offseason with the critical task of evaluating some of the Draft’s top prospects. This opportunity allows him to interact closely with key players Cleveland may be scouting, and his insights from the Senior Bowl experience will play a significant role in the team’s draft decisions in April.
