Flour Bluff’s Jayden Paluseo named Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Quarterback of the Year

Less than a week after being named the Built Ford Tough Class 5A Texas Player of the Year, Flour Bluff quarterback Jayden Paluseo is once again adding to his historic senior resume.

Paluseo, who led the Hornets to the state quarterfinals in his final season, was named the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Class 5A Quarterback of the Year on Thursday.

Paluseo threw for 4,183 yards and 56 touchdowns this past season, breaking his own school record. He also amassed 543 yards and nine touchdowns rushing.

The UTRGV commit finished his career with the third most passing touchdowns (144) in Coastal Bend history behind Refugio’s Travis Quintanilla and Odem’s Michael Everett.
