Longtime Sycamore head coach Scott Dattilo will join the Mason football coaching staff for the 2025 season.
Mason High School has hired longtime Sycamore head football head coach Scott Dattilo as the new high school football offensive coordinator. Pending board approval, he will join head coach Brian Castner’s staff for the 2025 fall season.Dattilo, the winningest football coach in Aviator history, brings 19 seasons of coaching experience to the Comets. According to a press release, “his leadership, expertise, and passion for the game have inspired and influenced countless students, athletes, staff, and alumni, building a lasting legacy of excellence, integrity, and community values.”
Dattilo also previously served as head coach at Fairfield High School. He has been named the Greater Miami Conference Coach of the Year three times (2005, 2007, 2011). In 2024, Dattilo was honored with the Region 16 Award for Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity.
