Notre Dame and Ohio State are set to square off for the College football Playoff national championship Monday night in Atlanta.
The Fighting Irish have not won a national title since 1988. As for Ohio State, the Buckeyes haven’t lifted the title since 2014.
Both sides have been built over the last few seasons to get to this point, though.
Ohio State consistently ranks as a top 5 class year in and year out, while Notre Dame hovers between the top 15 annually.
