Oregon drops one spot in latest USA TODAY Coaches poll

The Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team had just one last week, a 63-58 loss to Purdue and that loss was reflected in the latest USA TODAY Coaches poll.

Oregon dropped down a spot to No. 15, but the Ducks are still 15-3 overall and 4-3 in Big Ten action. On the other side of things, the Boilermakers jumped up three spots to No. 12.

Michigan State at 16-2 overall remains the top-ranked team in the Big Ten.

Oregon has plenty of chances to climb up the poll this week as the Ducks host Washington on Tuesday and go to Minnesota on Saturday. Both games are on the Big Ten Network.

Auburn remains the top-ranked team in the country with its 17-1 overall record. Duke moved into the No. 2 spot with a 16-2 record.

Illinois continues to impress as the Fighting Illini moved up three spots to No. 17 with a 13-5 mark.
