Though the last official signing period for the 2025 college football season arrives Feb. 5, it should be fairly uneventful for an Oregon football team that did most of its work in the fall and during the early signing period in December.
The Ducks signed all but one of their 21 committed recruits during the early signing period and have been active in the transfer portal to address needs ahead of the 2025 season with nine portal commitS.
Two of those signees have already left the Oregon football program however in four-star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and five-star receiver Dallas Wilson.
Sagapolutele, who flipped his commitment from Cal on signing day in a surprising move Dec. 4, signed with the Ducks and enrolled early to practice with the Ducks ahead of the Rose Bowl. Shortly after the Ducks’ loss, Sagapolutele entered the transfer portal and committed to Cal, citing that he didn’t feel like “a main priority” at Oregon.
Wilson, signed with the Ducks but asked for a release from his financial aid agreement shortly after signed with Florida. Wilson reportedly sought closer proximity to home in Tampa, Florida, due to the health of a family member.
That brought Oregon’s 2025 class to 20 with one player still left to sign. Here’s a look at that class and what needs the Ducks have already addressed ahead of this fall.
Who has already enrolled from Oregon football’s 2025 recruiting class?
Twelve recruits from Oregon’s 2025 class had chairs labeled with their names at practices in Southern California ahead of the Rose Bowl, signifying that they enrolled early to participate in Rose Bowl practices, including former signee Sagapolutele. With his departure, 11 players are left from that group that should be available for spring practices.
