Tennessee football sets date for Orange and White spring game at Neyland Stadium

Tennessee football will hold its Orange and White Spring Game on April 12 at Neyland Stadium.

On Thursday, UT announced the date and location of the game on X, formerly known as Twitter.

There are no other details at this time. UT will finalize the spring game plan in February.

Tennessee is coming off a strong 2024 season under coach Josh Heupel. It had a 10-3 record, made the first 12-team College Football Playoff field and finish in the top 10 of the polls.

UT will kick off spring practice in March, but a start date has not been announced. There will be plenty of storylines.

The Vols must replace SEC Offensive Player of the Year Dylan Sampson, All-American edge rusher James Pearce and as many as four starters on the offensive line.

Quarterback Nico Iamaleava returns for his third year at UT. Five-star offensive tackle David Sanders will be among 22 early enrollees participating in spring practice. Plus, at least three transfers will debut: Offensive guard Wendell Moe (Arizona), wide receiver Amari Jefferson (Alabama), running back Star Thomas (Duke).
