It isn’t hard to determine where Georgia football had to shore up areas on its roster for the 2025 season.
Wide receiver and defensive backs were two spots coach Kirby Smart and staff targeted.
The Bulldogs brought in six players on signing day for the secondary in the December period and added three more out of the transfer portal
Georgia signed five wide receivers in its recruiting class and brought in three more wideouts via the portal.
The Bulldogs also signed five offensive lineman and five defensive linemen in this class. Those are two areas where there will be plenty of new faces next season with backups moving into frontline roles.

Offensive line
LT Monroe Freeling
LG Micah Morris
C Drew Bobo
RG Daniel Calhoun
RT Earnest Greene
Georgia lost four starters, but Freeling and Greene split starts at left tackle last season and Morris started five games and Bobo two. Quarterback
Gunner Stockton
Ryan Puglisi

Running back
Nate Frazier
Roderick Robinson
Branson Robinson
Cash Jones
Nate Frazier becomes the top running back after Trevor Etienne decided to turn pro. Jones brings experience. The Bulldogs would be boosted if the Robinsons can avoid further injury setbacks.
Wide receiver
Zachariah Branch
Noah Thomas
Dillon Bell
Georgia’s most impactful transfers could be USC’s Branch and Texas A&M’s Thomas. Bell returns for his senior season. London Humphreys, Nitro Tuggle, Sacovie White and freshmen Talyn…
