Kalen DeBoer’s first recruiting class with Alabama football is secured.
With the NCAA February National Signing Day approaching, the Crimson Tide has its 21 members of its recruiting class signed, 18 of which have already enrolled early.
According to the 247Sports’ composite rankings, Alabama has the the No. 4 2025 recruiting class behind Texas, Georgia and Ohio State. With three five-star players, 16 four stars and two three stars, Alabama has the third-highest average player rating behind Oregon and Texas.
With the Alabama coaching staff’s attention turned to the 2026 recruiting class, here’s a look back at what DeBoer and company secured in 2025.
Keelon Russell: QB, Duncanville, Texas

6-foot-3, 175 pounds
No. 2 prospect
Alabama’s highest-rated quarterback signee since Bryce Young, Keelon Russell had two 3,000-plus yard passing seasons at Duncanville High School and left the program with more than 80 passing touchdowns. The former SMU commit signed with Alabama over Baylor, California and Ole Miss.

“The thing about Keelon, when you look at it, it’s not just his arm and his ability, which he’s had,” Alabama general manager Courtney Morgan said. “He’s as talented as anyone in the country. He played at Duncanville, which is a powerhouse. He’s a winner. He’s a leader. And he’s been around alphas. He’s an alpha.”
