CLEMSON — The schedule is complete for coach Dabo Swinney’s 17th season with Clemson football.
The Tigers will begin their season with two home games, starting with LSU on Aug. 30 at Memorial Stadium. This will be a rematch of the 2020 national championship game, which LSU won 42-25. Then they will host Troy, a Group of Five program, on Sept. 6.
Clemson will begin ACC play on the road against Georgia Tech on Sept. 13. Its first conference home game is against Syracuse on Sept. 20. The Orange helped the Tigers make the ACC championship last year after beating Miami in Week 14.
After a Week 5 open date, the Tigers will have back-to-back ACC road games against teams with former NFL coaches. They will face North Carolina on Oct. 4, then battle Boston College on Oct. 11. This will be Clemson’s first matchup against longtime NFL coach Bill Belichick (North Carolina) and Bill O’Brien (Boston College).
It will be a 2024 ACC Championship game rematch on Oct. 18 when SMU travels to Memorial Stadium. Then the Tigers will enter their final open date in Week 9.
That is followed by two home games: Duke on Nov. 1 and Florida State on Nov. 8. Then the Tigers will face Louisville on the road on Nov. 14. The Cardinals gave Clemson its only conference loss last season.
The Tigers will host Furman, an in-state FCS school, on Nov. 22, and conclude their season on the road at South Carolina for the 2025 Palmetto Bowl. In the past four years, Clemson and South Carolina have split their home and away results 2-2.
Times and broadcast information will be announced later this year. Clemson’s annual spring game will be held on April 5 (1 p.m. ET) at Memorial Stadium. Its spring practice is slated to start on Feb. 28.
