Mack Sutter is definitely on Bill Belichick’s radar.
The four-star tight end from Dunlap picked up a scholarship offer from North Carolina on Tuesday morning, he posted on social media. The Tar Heels recently hired six-time Super Bowl winner Belichick as head coach.
This is the second ACC offer Sutter has received in the last 24 hours, picking up one from Florida State on Monday night. The 6-foot-6, 225-pound junior now holds 37 scholarship offers, including three recent from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

College coaches have flocked to see Sutter in Dunlap during the past month. He’s received visits from Big Ten Conference head coaches Bret Bielema (Illinois), Kirk Ferentz (Iowa) and James Franklin (Penn State) all within the last two weeks.
Sutter was named to the Peoria Journal Star all-area and all-Mid-Illini Conference honor teams following Dunlap’s 6-4 campaign. The junior had 35 receptions for 505 yards and seven touchdowns. He also filled in one game at quarterback, throwing for 119 yards as the Eagles made the Class 6A playoffs. On defense, Sutter played linebacker with 29 tackles, six sacks, four forced fumbles and a pick-6.
