The NFL Draft is months away, but several prospects can make a major impression at the Reese’s Senior Bowl practices and game this week.
A strong week at the Senior Bowl a year ago helped Washington quarterback Michael Penix, a Tampa Bay Tech graduate, vault into the Top 10 where he was picked No. 8 by the Atlanta Falcons.
Houston wide receiver Tank Dell, a Mainland graduate, wowed scouts at the Senior Bowl in 2023 and wound up being selected in the third round by the Houston Texans.
Fourteen players from Florida accepted invitations to the Senior Bowl this year.
The list includes Texas A&M edge rusher Shamar Stewart (Monsignor Pace), Miami All-American wide receiver Xavier Restrepo (Deerfield Beach), and Florida State cornerback Azareye’h Thomas (Niceville).
Here’s a look at the players from Florida high schools who accepted invitations to the Senior Bowl.
