Kansas football’s Cobee Bryant making a name for himself at East-West Shrine Bowl in 2025

LAWRENCE — Cobee Bryant made a name for himself in recent years as a cornerback with the Kansas football program.

Bryant, who completed his senior year this past season, helped bring about a rebound of the Jayhawks’ program under head coach Lance Leipold. Bryant wrapped up his final year in college by collecting 37 tackles, four interceptions and seven pass breakups in 2024, after recording 32 tackles, four interceptions and five pass breakups the year before that. A first team, All-Big 12 Conference selection in 2024, Bryant also had a game against Houston this past fall in which he finished with three interceptions.

So, it should be no surprise that Bryant — also a first team, All-Big 12 selection in 2023 — ended up being able to have an opportunity to continue to prove he deserves a chance at the professional ranks ahead of the 2025 NFL draft. Bryant has been participating this month in the events at the East-West Shrine Bowl. And how well he’s been practicing, ahead of the game on Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, has not gone unnoticed.

Just take a look at some of these videos of how Bryant has performed recently as he’s represented Kansas and prepared for his next chance to play this game:
