Jackson Cantwell, the nation’s No. 1 football prospect in the 2026 class, has had plenty of visitors at the Nixa High School football facility as teams continue to pursue the 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive tackle’s services.
Cantwell cut his list of potential suitors to 14 before he led Nixa to a Class 6 runner-up finish this past season. He said he’d like to narrow it further within the next few months. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and offensive line coach Stacy Searels visited him on Monday, marking the second time Searels has visited Cantwell within nine days.
Last week, Miami (Florida) coach Mario Cristobal brought offensive line coach Alex Mirabal and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jason Taylor, the school’s defensive line coach, to visit Cantwell and his family. In photos posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Cantwell appeared to tower over the legendary Miami Dolphins defensive end.
Texas A&M coach Mike Elko also visited with a pair of assistants. Cantwell visited Texas A&M earlier this month during the Aggies’ first junior day of the offseason.
