Barry Odom became the latest Big Ten Conference head football coach to watch a little basketball in Dunlap.
Odom, the newly hired Purdue coach, was in Dunlap on Tuesday night to see four-star tight end Mack Sutter face Limestone in a Mid-Illini Conference game. Purdue was the fifth Big Ten school to offer Sutter, who posted it to his social media on Feb. 26, 2024.
In less than two weeks, Odom makes the fourth Big Ten head coach to see Sutter in-person. He joins coaching colleagues Bret Bielema (Illinois), Kirk Ferentz (Iowa) and James Franklin (Penn State).
Purdue is coming off a 1-11 season, going winless at 0-9 in conference play.
