Former Lakota West High School quarterback Mitch Bolden is one of 12 transfers joining the Miami University RedHawks ahead of spring ball, head coach Chuck Martin announced.
Bolden spent two seasons at Army, and was listed as a QB on the Black Knights’ roster. He’s a redshirt sophomore tight end on MU’s roster.
Bolden’s brother, Luke, played tight end for the RedHawks. Luke, the tight ends coach at Lakota West, played for their father, Firebirds head coach Tom, at Colerain High School. Bolden’s other brother, Kyle, a former Cincinnati Bearcats linebacker, is on the Firebirds’ coaching staff as well.
