Mt. Healthy hires former Loveland assistant as next football coach

Mt. Healthy High School has hired former Loveland assistant A.J. Williams as its next football coach.

Williams was a tight end at the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2015. He appeared in 47 games, catching 17 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown.

He played his high school ball at Sycamore under longtime coach Scott Dattilo and was named to the Greater Miami Conference’s second team as a junior and the first team as a senior. He primarily played on the offensive line for the Aviators, helping them rush for 291.6 yards in 2011. Sycamore went 8-3 in Williams’ senior year.

He succeeds Jordan Stevens, who went 23-12 in three seasons before leaving for Colerain. The Owls went 10-3 in 2024 and advanced to the Division II regional semifinals.
