OU football recruiting: WR Daniel Odom commits to Sooners’ 2026 class

NORMAN — OU football’s big recruiting weekend is seeing some returns.

After hosting its Junior Day this past weekend, the Sooners landed a commitment from 2026 four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom on Tuesday. Odom is ranked as the No. 33 receiver nationally and the No. 194 overall player by 247Sports.

Odom, a Bellflower, California, native will team up with fellow Southern California native, 2026 four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal in the Sooners’ class.

Odom chose OU over Oregon and Texas.

With Odom’s commitment, the Sooners now have four players committed in the 2026 class. Odom joins O’Neal, interior offensive lineman Will Conroy and tight end Ryder Mix.
