NORMAN — OU football signed 18 scholarship players to its 2025 recruiting class Dec. 4, the first day of the NCAA’s early signing period.
The beginning of the early signing period has become the unofficial signing day with most top players committing to their schools then.
OU’s class was headlined by highly-coveted offensive tackles Michael Fasusi and Ryan Fodje, as well as Checotah High School wide receiver Elijah Thomas, The Oklahoman’s All-State Offensive Player of the Year.
“It’s an excellent group of young men,” coach Brent Venables said on Dec. 4. “We hit most of our targets in a really competitive space.”
Where does OU football’s 2025 recruiting class rank?
The Sooners’ No. 17 national ranking in the 247Sports composite rankings would be Venables’ first outside the top 10 and OU’s lowest rating since 2016.
