SOUTH BEND — The recent conclusion of a grueling 16-game season for Notre Dame football quarterback Riley Leonard couldn’t keep him from suiting up for Senior Bowl practices this week in Mobile, Ala.
A resident of nearby Fairhope, Leonard joined Irish teammates and fellow NFL Draft hopefuls Jack Kiser and RJ Oben in American team preparations for Saturday’s 2:30 ET kickoff.
NFL Network, which broadcast team practices for three straight days, will carry the showcase game on Saturday.

How did Notre Dame players measure up at Senior Bowl?
Leonard is one of four quarterbacks on the American squad. The others are Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss, and Memphis’ Seth Henigan.
Leonard officially measured at 6-foot-3 and 3/8 and 210 pounds; at Notre Dame, he was listed at 6-4 and 216 pounds. His hand size was 9 ¼ inches, his arm length was 32 3/8 inches and his wingspan was 77 1/8 inches.
Kiser, recently named a first-team academic All-American by CoSIDA, is one of six linebackers on the American roster.
Kiser measured at 6-1 3/8 and 227 pounds – down slightly from his Irish dimensions of 6-2 and 231 — with a hand size of 9 1/8 inches, arm length of 30 ½ inches, and wingspan of 75 3/8 inches.
Oben, who joined Leonard in transferring from Duke last offseason, is one of seven edge players on the American roster.
Oben measured at 6-3 3/8 and 255 pounds with a hand size of 9 3/8 inches, arm length of 33 ¼ inches, and wingspan of 81 1/8 inches. That was 10 pounds lighter than Oben’s listed weight at Notre Dame.
